Position Summary

Responsible for all phases of Accounts Payable.  

Expected Hours of Work

Monday Friday, day shifts, overtime as needed


Essential Functions

  • All phases of Accounts Payable including review and verification of invoice submissions, daily data entry, weekly check run and ACH payment processing and filing
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements and general ledger
  • Month-end accrual journal entries and postings to general ledger
  • Year-end 1099's
  • Special projects as requested by management


Education and Training

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field


Desired Qualifications


  • Minimum 4 years General Ledger accounting experience in a multi-company environment
  • ACCPAC experience preferred
  • Excellent calculator and computer skills including email, MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work to meet strict deadlines and execute tasks with great attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and efficiency
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills


Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopies, phones, filing cabinets, fax machines etc.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral

    vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
